Terms of use

Plain rules for a marketplace that introduces buyers and sellers of industrial equipment. Read them before you list or enquire — using Machinera means you accept them.

Last updated 21 August 2026

1. What Machinera is

Machinera is a curated B2B marketplace for heavy machinery, industrial spare parts and power-plant equipment. We verify the companies that sell here and review every listing before it becomes visible.

We are an introduction platform, not a party to your transaction. There is no checkout, no escrow and no commission. Machinera does not own, inspect, store, ship, insure or guarantee any machine listed on it.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and acting for a business, not as a consumer.
  • The details you give us — including your name, company and contact information — must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself and tell us immediately if you think it has been compromised.
  • We confirm your email address before you can message vendors. Accounts that never confirm stay read-only.

3. Vendors and listings

A vendor account becomes active only after our team approves the application. Approval is our decision, and we may ask for company registration documents before granting it.

  • Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and again after any material edit. A rejected listing comes back with a reason so you can fix it.
  • List only equipment you actually have the right to sell, at a price and specification you can honour. Descriptions, hours, year, condition and photographs must reflect the actual machine.
  • Keep listings current. Sold or withdrawn equipment must be removed or marked as such — a marketplace full of ghost stock is worthless to everyone on it.
  • You may not use listings to advertise unrelated services, to route buyers to another marketplace, or to publish contact details designed to bypass our review.

4. Buyers and enquiries

Buyers may browse, save, compare and message vendors free of charge. Enquiries should be genuine: bulk-messaging vendors to advertise your own services is not an enquiry, and will cost you your account.

Do your own diligence. Inspect the machine, verify ownership and documentation, and confirm the company you are dealing with before any money moves. This is standard practice for used industrial equipment, and nothing on Machinera replaces it.

5. Deals happen off-platform

Once two companies are talking, the commercial relationship is theirs. Price, payment terms, inspection, transport, customs, warranty and dispute resolution are all agreed between buyer and seller directly.

Machinera charges no commission on any deal and takes no part in it. We cannot recover your money, enforce a contract, or arbitrate a dispute — though we do want to hear about bad actors, and we act on reports.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • post false, misleading or fraudulent listings, or impersonate another company;
  • list stolen equipment, or anything you may not lawfully sell or export from your jurisdiction to the buyer's;
  • harass, threaten or spam other users through our messaging;
  • scrape, crawl or bulk-extract listings, vendor details or contact information from the platform;
  • attempt to probe, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure;
  • upload malware, or files that are not what they claim to be.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload — text, photographs, specification sheets and documents. By uploading it you give us a non-exclusive licence to host, resize and display it for the purpose of running and promoting the marketplace.

Only upload material you have the right to use. If you believe something on Machinera infringes your rights, contact us and we will investigate promptly.

9. Suspension and removal

We may remove a listing, freeze a conversation, or suspend an account that breaches these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

When a vendor is suspended, their listings stop being publicly visible immediately. You may close your own account at any time from your account settings.

10. Liability

The service is provided as is. We work hard on verification and moderation, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is accurate, that every vendor will perform, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Machinera is not liable for lost profits, lost business, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform or from any dealing with another user. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will give notice of material changes by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Machinera after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms, a listing, or an account: info@machinera.global, or use the contact page.
